Why 366 Challenge?

I'm working on finding a cache every day of the year but don't understand why it is not called 365 day challenge as that is the amount of days in a year. On my stats page it says 366. (see above)
 

The challenge includes Feb. 29. During Leap Years, there are 366 days in a year.
