GGA Challenge #18 - The Old Ball and Chain

  • Challenge Period: Monday 8/30/21 to Sunday 9/13/21
  • Deadline for Submitting Proof: Wednesday 9/15/21 by 11:59 pm
  • Points Apply to: September drawing with prizes awarded at the October event

Labor Day is coming up during this challenge period, but nobody should have to work that hard at geocaching!

The theme is making a chain of caches! Find caches where the last letter of one is the first letter of the next.

 

Wanderer level: Find 3 caches in a chain. You can use any cache type.

Seeker level: Find 6 caches in a chain. You must use a minimum of 2 cache types.

Explorer level: Find 10 caches in a chain. You must use a minimum of 3 cache types.

Adventurer level - Find 15 caches in a chain. You must use a minumum of 4 cache types.

Bonus options - Available for all levels

  • You may cut the number in the chain by 1 cache by attending the JCAT Mega, the GPS Maze or by logging a locationless cache. 
  • You may substitute 1 cache type if you volunteer to help out at the JCAT event.
  • You may substiture 1 cache by getting another player who hasn't played yet to join in the Challenges.

Send your proof of completion to ggachallenges2021@gmail.com by the deadline to earn your points and chances in the drawing! Include the following details in your email (if you are attaching a bookmark list, please make sure that the list is public):

  • Your geo-nick
  • Your real name
  • The level for which you qualify
  • Your qualifying caches with dates found
  • Please tell me if you earned any bonus points.
