GGA's 20th Birthday Celebration!!!

Please join the Georgia Geocachers Association as we celebrate our 20^th Birthday at the place where it all began…Terrell Mill Park in Marietta. This local Cobb County park was the location of the VERY FIRST GGA meeting on June 9, 2001.  Although the name Georgia Geocachers Association was not chosen until several meetings later, this first organized meeting solidified the GGA as the FIRST geocaching group in the world!!

Twenty years later, we are still going strong with monthly meetings, CITOs, a myriad of 101 classes, community involvement and a renewed relationship with the Georgia State Parks. If you haven’t been to an event, please come and see what we are all about we would love to have you!!!

Please join us from 11am-2pm on Saturday, June 12^th at the picnic pavilion at the park entrance for a fantastic day of celebrating and fun!!!  You won’t want to miss out on this exciting day of:

The new and improved GGA store is now open and you won’t want to miss out on the 20^th Anniversary Geocoin (with its own icon) and the limited 20^th Birthday t-shirts for sale. Preorder now and save on your coins and t-shirts before prices go up!  All store items will be available for pick up at all future GGA events or shipped directly to you.  Last day to order items for pickup at the Anniversary Event will be May 31^st.  However, no purchase is necessary to come and enjoy all of the activities.
