GGA February 2021 Event - We Love the GGA!

Please join us at High Falls State Park to show your love and support for the best geocaching organization in the world - the GGA!! In conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of the GGA, we are holding a "We Love the GGA" Valentine's Celebration. The event will be held at the Group Shelter from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. 

Event Highlights:

• Raffle drawing for the January GGA Challenge winners
• Georgia Parks Geotour location
• Chocolate!

There is no charge to attend the event; however, there is a $5 parking fee if you do not have a current Georgia State Parks Pass. Dogs are permitted at the Park but not inside the Group Shelter.

**The GGA will be following state guidelines for event hosting.  The Georgia State Parks strongly encourages guests to practice social distancing and follow guidelines for hygiene while visiting the parks.  Please wear a mask if you are uncomfortable in social gatherings.

Following the event, the GGA will be hosting a Geocaching 101 class from 1 pm until 2 pm at the Group Shelter. This class is intended for new cachers or for people who would like to learn all about geocaching. To attend this class, you must first call the office at High Falls State Park to pre-register. So now is the perfect time to invite your "muggle" friends to become geocachers! Per High Falls State Park, the class will be limited in size to 15 participants. There is no fee for the class, however there is a $5 parking fee unless you have a current Georgia State Parks pass.
