I do understand we seek out containers for smiles, but is the smile / find more valuable to us in which we compromise the integrity of the game?

Does a throw down, (IMO - generally a free found around the house for temporally use container designed to break down once in the elements) provide a positive experience for future seekers and benefit the experience for future new geocachers, OR is it more important to throw down a container and claim a find on a container that one has place / hidden?

IF yes, then is it appropriate to provide a throw down even when the location is now not available for a container and noting in your found it log you placed a container 90 feet from the posted coordinates for an CO who has left the game?
